ODIE'S GOTTEN GARFIELD INTO ANOTHER FINE MESS.

Now he's really done it! That pea-brained pooch has gotten marooned on the moon! Nothing alarms Garfield more, except for maybe an alarm clock. With your help, Garfield's got to rescue him. So let's hear the battle cry, "Bonzai!"

THIS IS NO TIME FOR A CAT NAP.

For starters, remove the plastic cover on the screen. Next, press the On/Start Switch. The screen will display the high score. Now it's time to think fast, because in this topsy turvy world it's raining flower pots, old boots, garbage can lids and rotten tomatoes. Steer clear, or it'll be goodbye kitty. But keep an eye out for the chicken because Odie will drop you a few roasted cluckers to help you out. Eat 'em up and get some life back. Every bit of life is precious because contrary to popular belief, this cat's only got four lives.

WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH, THE TOUGH GET A SNACK.

Watch out for good old Jon who will appear occasionally with a hot steamy pan of lasagna. When you see him, move all the way left with the GO GARFIELD Button, then press Left to chow down. Get stuffed enough with three pieces of lasagna and you'll fill your Super Jump Meter. When (and only when) your meter is filled, you can press the POUNCE Pad and it's bang zoom to the moon to rescue Odie from his lunar lounge. Save Odie and you'll move up to a higher level. All 6 levels get tougher as you go. You'll have to be quick on the button, but it will also help if you let Garfield believe the moon's made of mozzarella cheese.

NOTE: After changing batteries, press the ALL CLEAR key with a ball point pen to clear the screen. Game turns itself off if not in use for 90 seconds.

FROM NOW ON, LET'S BE PUTTING WATER IN THE WATER DISH, AND FOOD IN THE FOOD DISH, OKAY?
