Lemmings Revolution

The Good
I came across a copy of Lemmings Revolution one dreary Scottish evening. The cover looked cute, so I put in my PC and soon was consumed with Lemmings. I found begining of the game easy but obviously as the levels progressed, I found myself stumped by some of the harder levels.

I liked everything about this game. Normally I'll have complaints about games I've played but this game just clicked with me and grew on me like moss on a tombstone. I thought that the lemmings were adorable and so cute when they got away ( blame the estrogen for that).

The basic simple plot, free the lemmings trapped by the weasels from their prison using limited resources was simple. That i liked- a straight forward basic game. Brilliant

The Bad
I wasn't keen about the beginning of the game when they set up the plot. I guess for people like the whole presentation of a game then the carefree lemmings vs. the evil weasel bit will entertain you. I, however, have no patience and tend to go straight for the game. But that's just as daft as my next dislike- the titles of the levels. So no real intelligent dislikes.

The Bottom Line
This game is addictive. Be prepared to forgo any sleep in order to save all the poor trapped lemmings. I must confess that I haven't played the other lemming games, so I don't know what else is out there. But this game appeals to man, women, cow, monkey because it's so much fun to play.

The Good
When I first played the original Lemmings, It seemed brilliant. Then a friend told me about Lemmings Revolution.She gave me a copy of the game,it seemed easy at first but became SO DIFFICULT! The lemmings are so cute and cuddly (don't you just love lemmings?)and also I liked the zoom in feature,it made the game ten times easier.I loved the video clip it was hilarious.The graphics are stunning and the water lemmings are useful in the gameplay.

The Bad
why don't the weasels appear in any other lemmings game!? I think the game could do with some more skills don't you.Why aren't there many sound effects because I HATE THE SOUND OF SPLAT IN THE MORNING sounds like a failed level.It does not have the same classic lemmings feel that Paintball Lemmings and Oh No! Lemmings.

The Bottom Line
A fun,head scratching and 3D overload of puzzle fun.But still second best, but is a definite buy for all Lemmings collectors.8 out of 10 marks.
