Fire Force
- Fire Force (1992 on Amiga, Atari ST, 1994 on Amiga CD32)
Description
Fire Force is a 1-player arcade game for multiple systems.
Divided into 3 separate levels with distinctly different gameplay. In the first level, gameplay occurs from a top-down perspective on a 2D scrolling map. The player can move and fire in 8 directions, and must combat a number of soldiers. The player can use walls, trees, and other obstacle for protection.
The second level is a side-scrolling mission, where the player has limited time to try to travel as far along a bridge as possible. The player can duck to avoid enemy fire, and must shoot an infinite number of enemies.
In the final level, the player controls a plane, that can scroll sideways and fire directly forwards, while a number of enemy ships appear. The player starts with 9 lives, and it's game over if all are lost. A password system allows the player to start on level 1, 2, or 3.
