Version differences
Silent but Deadly describes the 48K Spectrum version quite aptly as well, as it has virtually no sound - other versions (including the Spectrum 128K version on the other side of the tape) have a fluid soundtrack and lots of spot effects. As well as the obvious memory disadvantage against the C64 and other rival systems, the Spectrum's sound hardware wasn't nearly as impressive, especially for music, so quite a few games featured sparse sound, although this is one of the more extreme examples.
