The level map for the first episode
I find that graphics from the original could have been revamped in a bolder way. But here the colours are really warm and cute...
One of the first levels of "episode 4". Including some new enemies such as the brown dog (bottom right).
Upper section of the same level with big electric discharge effects.
Episode 4 returns to "nocturnal outdoor" backgrounds, only used in episode 1 of the original games.
I now have four lives instead of three. I had to switch to easiest difficulty level after I found myself unable to complete the first jetpack level. I am ambitious anyway...
...(I always aim to beat the level without losing lives and I managed to do it in most levels of this episode)...
...However, some robotic enemies now need less hits to eliminate and it helps a lot, also in the already mentioned jetpack sequence.
Find a pickaxe to access the small island with an "X" and a very hard bonus level.
Very colourful level. The glass case in bottom centre used to contain the pickaxe, but it looks even better when broken. ;)
After bright blue sky and starry night sky, we find another sky shade in this level - should it perhaps be called "morning outdoor background"? ;)
The secret bonus level. Unfortunately, I found myself unable to complete this one. :( At least...
...you don't need to beat the level to claim the "X marks the spot" achievement, accessing this level is enough.
The last fortress is a typical boss level. I always wished fortresses in "Secret Agent" were bigger than ordinary levels, but the only thing which set them apart were blueprints to grab...
...At least in this case the fortress differs in SOME way. And episode 4 levels seem bigger on average. :)
The "cutscene" after completing episode 4. I like how 006's "softer" side is emphasised, I'm sick of macho men.
My game statistics. Unfortunately, I'm still far from catching every single falling money bag (or rather knowing where they are).
While I'm usually not too crazy about achievements, I prefer having them available from game menu level.
Are we missing some important screenshots?
