Sex, Lies and FMV

The Good
In 1993, Voyeur was probably one of the most ambitious full motion video (FMV) game on the market. The B-minus acting is a cut above other "interactive movies", the storyline is engaging, with a slightly different plot twist each time you play and yes, the game featured some mature sexual themes.

The Bad
As a first generation full motion video (FMV) title, some of the engaging storyline is lost due to the fact that the actors were filmed on a blue screen and then superimposed them over computer-generated locations. It is not horrible and could not be helped at the time, but it does distract from what is otherwise an engaging murder mystery.

The Bottom Line
Voyeur is a full motion video game for adults. The murder mystery storyline, set against the backdrop of an upcoming presidential election, is engaging but the early technical limitations of full motion video may distract you from truely becoming a part of the story.
