Description

Spelling Genie is a 1 - 2 player language learning game for the 8-bit Atari.

The player creates a custom word list to be used in a number of word games. The player must correctly spell the words.

  • Mix Up: The player must rapidly unscramble words to score points.
  • Pop On: A word flashes every 5 - 6 seconds. The player scores points by rapidly spelling words correctly.
  • Tip Off: One letter in a word appears, with blanks for the remaining letters. Every few seconds a single letter in a different position is displayed.
  • Vowels: Words appear from the word list missing the vowels, and the player must fill them in.

The player can enter a tournament mode, where different games are used.
