Tunnels of the Underworld

In the year 2525 World War III wiped out almost every living creature on the surface of Earth. Huge dust clouds and nuclear radiation in the atmosphere made it impossible for mankind to keep living on the surface of the Earth. The only place warm enough for living was deep beneath. And so the few survivors started to dig tunnels, trying to get closer to the center of the Earth. But everything was scarce; room, food, machines, basic goods... And so the people had to fight again, for the survival of the fittest.

Tunnels of the Underworld is an action paced side-view game. The basic idea is to fly a spaceship in order to wipe out your enemies. Terrain explodes in thousands of pieces, you hear your troopers screaming in pain, your ship starts smoking and you shoot that final dumbfire towards the enemy ship and BOOM.

There are 4 hand drawn levels, millions of generated levels with 6 photo-realistic themes, 7 deathmatch styles, over 70 special weapons and over 10 basic weapons. Special weapons vary a great deal, and only few of them are meant for straight shooting. Turrets, troopers, fireworks, bombs, nuclei and Komet Bomb 3s. But most of the weapons are just too strange to describe in a single word.
