FIGHTER COMMAND
Objective: Air Supremacy
Take command of the air-force in this frontline strategic air combat simulation. As Commander, Airforce, you must allocate your aircraft between different bases, and give each squadron flight missions, to defend your territories against air attack - and ultimately gain an air victory over the opponent via offensive missions.
Success will require able military planning, efficient movement of forces and management of arms and fuel supplies. It will not be easy - but the alternative is unthinkable.
This sophisticated simulation provides three map levels: strategic map; radar map; and highly detailed satellite map; at the maximum zoom, the play area is equivalent to a huge 120 feet by 70 feet.
Fighter Command comes complete with a Middle East War Module which includes over 20 different scenarios. At your disposal are air bases, radar stations, and the following aircraft:
AWACS, B52, F117 Stealth Bomber, F16 Falcon, AV8B Harrier, GR1 Tornado, Jaguar, F1 Mirage, Mig 21 Fulcrum, Su 24; Lynx, Apache & Hind attack helicopters
Missiles used in the simulation include: SAMs, Exocets, Patriots and Scuds.
