Description

Castle is a text adventure for the Atari 8-bit computer.

You're vacationing in Pomerania, and desperate to escape your tour guide, you sneak out of the country inn to take a walk alone. Unknowingly, you wander into an enchanted forest down the lane. Up ahead, you can just make out the outlines of a castle shrouded in mist. Even though you know better, you decide to take just a quick peek into one of the castle's heavy-leaded windows. As you step into the dark castle, the door slams shut behind you. The forest's evil wizard has lured another victim into his trap! Your only chance for survival is to escape the castle before the wizard turns you into a newt.

All entries are via VERB NOUN entry, and the goal is to to figure out how to exit the haunted castle. There are multiple inventory-based puzzles to solve. The player can request a hint in each room, for a clue on how to proceed. There is no save/restore feature.
