Everyone's A Wally (The Life of Wally)
Description official descriptions
Wally Week's third game introduces us to more members of his gang. As well as his lady Wilma, his mates Tom, Dick and Harry come under your control as well, and you have to indirectly guide Wally's son Herbert. You've discovered a safe, but need to find the five parts of the code - each character is searching for a particular one. Their respective professions dictate which tasks they can perform - plumbing, electrical work and car maintenance for example. Objects must be collected and manipulated to accomplish all this. There are plenty of reaction and timing tests along the way, as well as hidden games.

Multi-role platform/puzzle game.
The Good
The challenge of exploring the town and finding uses for the various objects, the addictive gameplay, the nice-looking scenery and the surreal hazards (flying rubber stamps, land-stalking fish, ghostly school desks whose lids keep opening and shutting on their own, etc).
The Bad
Too over-complicated (a multi-role arcade adventure may have seemed like a good idea, and controlling the varied characters is interesting, but perhaps it would have been better with just Wally).
The Bottom Line
Wally, his wife Wilma and his workmates Tom, Dick and Harry must complete various chores in order to unlock the safe and collect their wages. This is done by picking up varied objects lying around the screens and using them in varied places to access other objects. Ultimately each character must reach a letter, part of the safe's combination. There are five letters, and certain tasks can be completed by only one of the characters depending on his/her trade (eg.Harry is the plumber, Wilma is the housewife who collects the shopping). You can change the character you're controlling by pressing a certain key whilst in the same screen as that character. There are also arcade-type sub-games hidden around the screens.
