Description

Deduce is a Mastermind variant for the COSMAC computer. The code is four digits long and after each guess by the player the computer will tell the amount of digits in the correct position and the amount of digits in the code, but not in the correct position. The player has 15 tries to find the code.

Older program with same title

The original 1971 prototype for the FRED also had a game called deduce, but this demonstration program only deduced a number the player memorized, rather than being a full-fledged game.
