Meet Dr. Hoop! The self-proclaimed greatest scientist of the century and the leading researcher on the planet Phantasmagoria.
Here it comes. Are we ready for our trip?
Title screen
As the planet turns by, we can plot out our vacation. Let's pick somewhere to start.
Each scene opens with a little card showing its name and the area map; this will be useful when we plan our next destination, too, since it shows all roads out.
Let's start out with a visit to the ice hotel. The key cursor when hovering over an area means we can click there to interact with it. In this case, it means we can go inside.
Nice quiet day at the ice bar. Congratulations to the rat on the cheese heist.
If we come back later, things get a lot busier.
Clicking on any edge of the screen shows the players all of the available destinations in that direction, along with their distance and the method of transport to get there.
Looks like a repair job is underway in the bakery kingdom.
This is what they're watching through that telescope.
What a peaceful place...
Inside a quiet waterfall cave where a robber is planning a heist.
Unfortunately it looks like the dragon was a few steps ahead of them...
Time to let the cat out.
Train passing through.
Bustling day in North Pole City.
You can ride the tram, picking either of two stops along the line.
Here's the first stop, a quiet place with a factory.
The final stop is this hotel.
A bit north of the hotel is this broken-down light bulb in the desert.
Oh, you leave that bird alone!
If we return to the hotel by car, we see a slightly different sight here.
Over in the cactus city, we can catch a plane if we want to.
Taking a submarine brings us over to this undersea city.
Oh to be a passenger sitting on the sea slug bus and watching the world go by.
Checking out the pyramids on the canals in this spot on the sea.
The old man chugs tequila by the bottle with his little projector. If you ask, he'll happily play any of his 8mm reels for you.
Wow. That's a cool robot.
The rats are really into his films. He builds up an audience after the first showing and they'll gladly stick around as long as there are movies to watch.
Are we missing some important screenshots?
