The Atari 2600 version of the game is listed in the 2008 Guinness World Records Gamer's Edition as the first football game to allow players to control their team from a side perspective (stadium viewpoint). Although the platform was most likely confused as it's the Intellivision version of the game that contains the side view perspective.
