The American Mall Game: A 2018 Retail Challenge
Description
This educational game was an experiment by financial news company Bloomberg to present the decline of the shopping mall industry in a non-traditional way. Presented in the style of 90s edutainment games, it puts the player in the role of a new owner of a declining mall and tasks them with the impossible task of turning the business around. Players micromanage their tenants, try to optimize customer happiness and reduce costs, and go out of business frequently.
