Age of Mahjong

Hundreds of years ago, the Emperor and Empress raised their only son, the heir to the throne, within their castle. But one day, the child fell ill and started losing his strength. None of the Royal doctors were able to help the child. One day, one of his advisors brought in a wizard from afar, who seemingly healed the child - but at what cost?

Age of Mahjong combines the classic Mahjong tile matching game with a resource gathering strategy simulation. In order to proceed through the game, you must gather resources to build your city by clearing Mahjong puzzles. Clear the puzzles fast enough and you'll obtain bonus resources and points. In order to clear the board you must match up the two Golden Tiles that are buried underneath all the other tiles. Once you do, the puzzle will be considered complete, regardless of how many tiles are left in the playing board.

As you progress, you will also gain access to additional gameplay features, like a hint system, and special moves like tile transformations, swapping and peeking underneath the top most tile. However, you won't have access to every special moves on all levels, only the ones chosen by the game layout.

The game contains 56 levels in story mode, plus a bonus unlockable Mahjong matching mode where you can choose the tileset (earning additional ones as you clear the game) and layout. It also contains an achievement system which tracks your progress and gives you awards as you complete objectives.
