This is what towns look outside in The Tyrants of Thaine.
This ship will get you to the quest location, but most of the travel is accomplished by using various teleporters.
A new feature in The Tyrants of Thaine is the option to build your own castle, which functions as a town with shops that sell unique items.
This nice gentleman here, Samuel, will help you set up your very own castle up and running in no time.
Clothes and armour set art has received a significant upgrade since Book I Chapter 2.

Once you build your own keep, it also functions as a one-time low-level dungeon when you enter it for the first time.
The hourglass item, once in your possession, allows to check the time of day, and also the current date whenever you need.
When you build a farm in your keep, you get some free food supplies.
The party map item displays all explored area of the current part of the game world upon use.
The item enchanter service in The Tyrants of Thaine is available openly but you can only enchant anything up to level 2.

In the mines, you can collect ore which may then be sold in a miner's shop (available in the keep) for profit. Similarly, gold nuggets can be sold in a jewellery shop.
