While Viscera Cleanup Detail: Shadow Warrior is included for free with each (steam?) purchase of SW, it also has its own entry in the Steam database and its own store page. (Although it is unbuyable by itself).
The homepage of the dev also lists it as seperate "side project" similar to Santa's Rampage.

And, imo most importantly, the game can be bought without SW by pre-ordering Viscera Cleanup Detail. While this does not mark a stand-alone release, it does mean the game can be gotten without SW.
I am very unemotional about this, I just wanted to point out the obvious question.

[Q --start Sciere wrote--]Either way it's still not available stand-alone, so it can't have its own game entry. If it ends up as a part of Viscera Cleanup Detail when that is released, that may imply it gets listed twice as part of another game entry. [/Q --end Sciere wrote--]It's been sold alone already.
Sort of.
Indie Gala had the game included in Indie Gala January package. That's how I got my copy.

[Q --start Sciere wrote--]You bought a menu, not a single course. [/Q --end Sciere wrote--]The point is, it's shown up in an Indie Gala, which means it'll show up for sale at their store later.
Which means: Standalone entry.
Edit: Oh wait, oops. I thought the original post was talking about Santa's Rampage, not Shadow Warrior. Blargh. Never mind.
