Why do we have two seperate game entries, instead of two platforms for one entry?

Gears Of War (PC): http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/gears-of-war_

and

Gears Of War (X360): http://www.mobygames.com/game/xbox360/gears-of-war

[EDIT: Hmm, is it because the PC version has some extra content?]
