i just purchased fc 25 because mobygames listed it in "management soccer games", but the truth is "career manager mode" is not a management mode.

indeed, in a proper management game, the AI control your character and you don't actually "play" the game. in fc 25, you have advanced parameters, who tend to makes you feels like you're in a management game (but very minimalistic) but you're controlling the atheles and only your gaming skills provide results, not the setting you adjusted.

i would like to point that lot of modern games, such as f1 24, have this kind of "career mode" which doesn't make the game a management game. in addition to that, the fact you have "2 games in one" is quite suspicious. proper management game don't comes with a racing game or soccer game offered. this is jutst a mode inside the game, not a management simulation included.

theses career mode are intented to mislead the consumers, and i won't be surprised if the communication team of ea sport directly contributed (anonymously) to that misleading category here on mobygames.

management games are complex. simulation games too. you can't trust any marketing who let you think you have 2 games in one. even if theses career mode might add some gameplay context and immersion, it has to be indexed separately than a proper management game.

i mean, if i was naive enough to purchase it, anyone could do that misinterpretation.
