The ZX Spectrum and Amstrad versions of this game are platform games with shooting. However the C64 version has completely different game-play, and is in fact an adventure game with very little in the way of action. According to the style guide, these should be made different entires.

For an example of the ZX Spectrum play, see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1j1uLyWwskc&spfreload=10

And for the C64 play, see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFNBfxe0u44&spfreload=10

Also, out of interest, does anyone know the expected approval times for new games? I have had responses to some almost instantly, but for the last two have waited weeks.

Going by maps for Spectrum and Amstrad, those two aren't the same either.

What version would you say the current description best fits? The other two would then have be get new entries with new descriptions.

Might this also apply to the sequels?

The best way to resolve this is to create a new entry for the C64 version and note in the comments to approver that all commodore 64 elements from this entry need to be moved over. An admin can than take care of it.

As for approval times. Different approvers have access to different queues depending on their know-how about certain platforms. So it can be that a game that's taking longer is in a queue with fewer or less active approvers. Some platforms also have much more submissions than others making it harder to keep up. Approving is also on a voluntary basis so it might simply be a slow week for someone. But don't worry everything will be looked at eventually.

@Terok Or : Yes, it looks as though all three versions are in fact different but I have found a reference that suggests that this isn't the case with the sequels. The current description seems to correspond to the Spectrum version, which I have played. I'm not familiar yet with the other versions.

@vedder : Thanks for the information. I'll create some new entries (maybe tomorrow) if I can find a manual for each of the releases, and maybe play them for a while to work out what the differences are.

C64 has been split here. Amstrad still needs a new entry.

I had a look at the sequels. The third game is fine - all 8-bit versions are the same. With the second however, only C64 and Amstrad are the same, so Spectrum needs a new entry, too.
