Forums > Suggestions > How do I correct a game’s credits that were already verified?

I literally created an account just for this, but I can’t figure how to do it. There’s an old Japanese game that had its credits entered using the in-game staff roll as a source. Most people were credited with their names abbreviated, like J. Smith instead of John Smith. Whoever punched them in here figured who some of the people were and put their full names with the abbreviated version as an alias, but most of the staff is still with incomplete names. If you look at the game’s manual, however, everybody but the voice actors are credited properly with their full names. An old post says that the option to issue a correction should be a submenu of the contribute button, but that takes me directly to the form to add new credits instead of existing the existing ones. Help?

How about if you want to make credit changes yourself? I haven’t seen a single edit button in the credits section page. You can add new credits, not edit existing ones, so far as I know.

You cant edit already approved credit lines, but you can mark previously approved ones for deletion and replace them with new ones.

Approvers can edit credits through the approver view on game pages, but for something like this, it's inconvenient (requiring you to delete and re-add the credits). I intend to improve this in the near future.
