Biography edit · view history
René started his games career in 2001. The community project RoCards/OnlineTales rapidly developed from a hobby to a job. Here, he gained his first experience in community management and development.
Over 40 online games on all platforms followed, primarily Product Management or Producer roles. Among these 40 games, you can find Ragnarök Online, Florensia, Hello Kitty Online, DC Universe Online, Everquest2, PlanetSide2, and HeroZero.
Throughout his career, he tried various things outside of gaming. With his company, Wolfp4ck, he started a VoD-Platform for Japanese animations. Apart from that, he oversaw the centralized Payment Solution of ProSiebenSat.1 Media and their central media asset management.
In 2020, he joined Improbable, which supports Game Studios and Publishers in creating unseen game experiences. His role as VP of Product IMS helped broaden his understanding of today's challenges in game development.
After leaving his last position, he founded the games studio Blankhans. As Executive Producer, he oversees the creation of the studio's first game, Coreborn: Nations of the Ultracore.
