It was originally owned by Hillclimb Media, Inc., a Seattle-based, privately-held company specializing in websites with pay-for-content features co-founded by CEO Doug Colbeck. Hillclimb Media was acquired by Demand Media (aka Demand Entertainment) in August 2006, the same year Demand was founded.
In late 2015 ArcadeTown was acquired by iWin, Inc..
