4A Games is a video game development company founded in 2006 in Kiev, Ukraine by former employees of GSC Game World, including several programmers who worked on the engine used in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. They came to prominence with their first title, Metro 2033, for which they developed the new 4A Engine.

In May 2014, the company announced they were opening a new headquarters in Malta and relocating key members of staff to the new studio. As of 2017, there were 80 employees based in the Kiev studio and 70 in Malta.

February 27, 2025: Company rebrands from 4A Games to Reburn.
September 2024: Saber Interactive pays off its purchase debt to Embracer Group early. Embracer elects to keep 4A Games as a subsidiary.
March 2024: Saber Interactive is purchased from Embracer Group by Beacon Interactive, a holding company founded by Saber co-founder Matthew Karch. 4A Games is not included as part of the sale, but Saber was given an option to purchase it later. This option was not exercized and 4A Games becomes a direct subsidiary of Embracer Group.
August 13, 2020: Company acquired by Saber Interactive for US$ 36 million.
