Bytex is a Quality Assurance and Work For Hire developer studio based in Saransk, Russia. It was established in 2004 by Dmitri Karasev.

On 22 September 2021, Embracer Group AB, through its wholly owned subsidiary Saber Interactive, announced its acquisition to acquire the company (100%) and its more than 240 employees. Bytex and Saber already worked together on projects previously. Karasev remained CEO and Bytex continued to operate as a subsidiary under Saber. When Saber Interactive split off from Embracer in 2024, Bytex would remain with the former.
