Overview edit · view history

MediaQuest was a Japanese developer, publisher and distributor of computer and console video games, founded in 1995 and continuing to publish until 2005.

Known for Japanese localisations and ports of western games, MediaQuest were a Mitsui & Co., Ltd. subsidiary, and collaborated with Mitsui & Co.’s other video game related brands such as Medioza.

MediaQuest changed hands in 2002, becoming the game publishing arm of Kids Station, Inc., another Mitsui & Co. subsidiary. After the change, publications under their name continued, primarily for localised versions of Western titles, while the Kids Station name was generally used for Japanese titles.

Online services for MediaQuest’s games, and the brand name itself, were retired for game publication in 2005 in favour of Kids Station.

Credited on 30 Games from 1996 to 2005
