Engine Room Games is a development studio based in Bristol, United Kingdom. It was founded in 2008 by four ex-Pivotal developers: Alex McLean, Tim Cannell (Director/Software Engineer), Paul Dunning (Director/Software Engineer) and Peter Long (Director/Software Engineer). For Alex McLean it was only a short stint as he left the company in 2009 to become a director at Codemasters.
The studio is a registered developer for the iPhone, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms. The studio contributed to the 2009 title Batman: Arkham Asylum and released its first iPhone game F1 2009 in 2009 as well.
