Overview edit · view history
FireSky was a publisher for Social Networks at Play or SNAP games and also provided development. It was a subsidiary of Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment, formed by the same team.
FireSky's flagship product was meant to be Stargate Worlds, an MMO based on the U.S. science fiction television series Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. The entire company was built around this title, when the initial idea was started in the summer of 2002. After acquiring the license from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM), Cheyenne was founded in 2005.
The game was never released as the parent company Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment filed for bankruptcy in February 2010. This was just after the release of the shooter Stargate: Resistance, FireSky's first game.
