I loved them with a passion for the next decade but when I was 15, I started to develop a life and, thanks to Windows, began to loathe the computers themselves with the kind of hate normally reserved to extremist right-wing militant groups.
Now a few years on, I still like computer games and continue to be amazed at how fast they develop and grow as an art form. However it irritates me that they are still seen as an adolescent male pursuit and how this image is influencing developers and publishers and making many of them perpetuaite this stereotype: - Nearly all games released today are still just boy's toys. Cars. Guns. War. Level 43 Druids. Pixellated boobies. I want this to change because it's getting very boring.
I can't decide what to do with my life so I'm trying to become an actor, and play jazz piano whilst 'resting'. I recently somehow won a place at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and am one of the youngest in the year. (They probably made a mistake and thought I was someone else when they phoned)
I'm grateful to the creators of this site for giving stupid people like me a place to air their opinions. :)
