Vietnam: Black Ops
Description
Vietnam: Black Ops is a first person shooter taking place in 1969 during the Vietnam War. The player is a captured American soldier who at the start of the game finds himself locked up in a small bamboo cell in a prisoner of war camp. Suddenly an explosion allows the player to leave the cell but to escape the player first has to battle a large amount of hostile forces. The game consists of nine levels and in addition to the starting camp the player also has to battle his way through jungles, ruined cities and Vietcong tunnels. In each level the player has to reach an exit while killing all enemy soldiers that stand in the player's way. The weapons available are the ones typical for the time period: AK-47s, M-16s, sniper rifles and grenade launches among others.

Poor graphics detract from Vietnam shooter
The Good
There was nothing appealing to me about this game, other than the premise (special forces soldier escapes POW camp to raise hell). I stopped play after one level.
The Bad
Black Ops suffers from poor graphics rendering, jerky motion, unrealistic action.
The Bottom Line
If you are looking for a Vietnam first-person shooter, this is not a good choice.
