Stranger
Description official description
Stranger is set in a fantasy world named Kront which has one especially cruel penalty for black magic: banishment to the over world. The three protagonists Steiger (crossbow), Mordlok (melee) and Kagar (magic) are innocently banished and now they just know one goal: revenge. Every one of them has a small army and the player alternately takes their role during the game.
Stranger is a real-time tactics game without base building which means the player has to work with the units he got. He also can hire mercenaries by paying them with crystals. These crystals are also the foundation of the unique magic system: there are three kinds of crystals which can be divided into the individual inventories. These crystals create a small sphere around the unit; the color depends on the crystals, e.g. green and red crystals mean a brown sphere. Within these sphere only magic of the same colour can be used.
The player keeps his troops from mission to mission. These receive experience points and get better fighting and magic skills after a level up. In smithies the player can create powerful weapons and armor by using resources which are received by killing enemies or melting down unused gear.
