Massive Assault Network 2
Description official description
Massive Assault Network 2 is a turn-based multiplayer strategy game and sequel to Massive Assault Network. Like the previous game two different factions battle it out on various worlds.
Like the previous game in the Network series the matches are fought out on a large map which is divided into different regions. From the start the player controls a number of regions, some openly and some secretly. Other regions are neutral. Secret regions are important for performing surprise attacks.
Turns feature four phases: Recruitment, Movement, Disclose and Guerrilla. In the first you can purchase new units such as tanks, ships, airplanes, amphibious vehicles, mechs and turrets. Each unit type has a separate values for hit-points, damage and movement speed. The movement phase is used to move units. In the disclose phase it's possible to launch a surprise attack with a secretly allied region. The guerrilla phase is automatically triggered when a region is attacked.
This part of the series focuses on on-line 1 on 1 deathmatches. Matches can take up to weeks and can be paused at any time to continue at a later time. Unlike the previous game in the series, players don't have to pay to have their game saved in their absence.
