Loaded is a violent, bloody top-down shooter which places you in the boots of one of six characters, who are all strange and deformed, from a psychotic clown to a huge baby.
Loaded is a mission based game, where you have to complete various objectives, such as "escape the prison." Throughout each mission, there are tons of enemies to kill.
You can choose to play through the single player campaign, or you can go head to head in two player.

Bloodiest, cruelest, BEST 3rd person shooter!
The Good
"Loaded" is an obscure PSX game in which you and a partner are criminal aliens trying to shoot your way out of 15 prison worlds!
You can be a crossdresser, killer clown, hot babe, brutal baby, gorilla guy, or pirate skeleton. Your enemies are psychotic rats, mutants, monsters, and androids! All of this happens in filthy dungeons, dry deserts, fancy waiting rooms, spaceports, and other incredible environments.
The action is a 3rd person shooter with a 360 view from above the player's head. Basically the player shoots at everything in sight, splattering blood across the 15 worlds!
Everything about this game was PHENOMENAL. I can only recommend that people play it, particularly if they like gore!
The Bad
The only complaint I have of this game is that it needs use of the PS1 analog joystick, though it handles just fine with the keypad.

Super Smash TV but FAR MORE BLOODY VIOLENT AND FUN!!!

Comic
Considering that the main character design and graphics were done by a host of comic book artists like Les Spink and Greg Staples (of 2000AD fame), Interplay and DC Comics edited a small 12-page novella illustrated with the game's artwork to promote it and introduce the characters and the game premise. The book was published bundled with DC's works at the time and the interesting thing here is that DC signed Vertigo's star Garth Ennis (Preacher, Hellblazer, Hitman, Judge Dredd, etc.) to write it.
