Gopher Squish!

Moby ID: 28530

Description

Simulating the carnival midway "Whac-A-Mole" games, this simple program puts the player in the role of an amateur exterminator trying to manually neutralise a gopher infestation in your back yard by squishing them (by clicking crosshairs on them) every time they pop their head out of a hole, awarding more points the faster it's done. Each of 25 time-constrained levels has a different layout of gopher holes, some closer together than others, requiring quick reflexes on the player's part to drag the mouse over to the new gopher sighting and click on it before they retreat back underground. On top of three difficulty settings, this game also features an optional gore toggle, for those who like their gophers extra-squishy.
