Description official descriptions

The sequel to the Siren survival horror game puts you again in control of several characters. The game takes place on a island on the coast of Japan called Yamijima. The story begins when the characters have to dock to the island to survive the raging storm. 29 years earlier, all the island's inhabitants disappeared in a blackout and you will need to investigate this mystery.

The sequel adds new features in the game, which most notably you will notice, apart from the original Shibito zombies, as the new Yami Bito demons. The sequel also has a new alert system which functions through the controller's vibration function and alerts you of any nearby danger.

Stealth plays an important role, as well as light and darkness, as the creatures are sensitive to it in different ways. Just like in the previous game, you can sight-jack enemies and animals, to view the environment through their eyes. There are over 30 weapons to collect and there are three difficulty options.

Trivia

Mini Game: Kunitoris

Kunitoris is a full, retro-themed puzzle game which can be unlocked in the game. (The name is an amalgamation of the Japanese word "kuni", which means "country", and, obviously, Tetris.) The fuzzy graphics and sound are Famicom-era, and there's even an authentic-looking title screen.

In Mamoru Itsuki's 15:00 level, on board Bright Win, you will find the game by inspecting the TV in the third-class cabin. After this, it will be available to play from the main menu.

Moving a cursor around the screen you can capture Tetris-shaped clouds, ready to plunge onto the required, flashing geographical state on the map. Once it's full (or captured and under your rule), you move on to the next state, with the aim of unifying the land.

Blocks can be rotated like in Tetris, or mirror flipped, and several blocks can be group together while moving through the sky, so that when you drop them you take out larger pieces of land. There is a time limit, which goes down faster with each block drop, so you need to be quick. You can also get a bonus for capturing an entire state in one go.
