Summary

A classic space-combat sim in everyone's favorite universe. :)

The Good

Ah, a fine Star Wars game. Much improved from X-Wing with better controls, more options, better graphics, and the ability to play the bad guys. I also love the feeling of vulnerability when flying the shieldless Tie Fighter - it really separates the men from the boys. :)

The Tie Defender is also the absolute s***. :-)

The Bad

As usual, no multiplayer. But Lucasarts made up for it first with X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter, and then even more so with X-Wing Alliance. Also, the lack of a supported mission editor was an oversight.

The Bottom Line

A great game well worth your time and money.
