The Palace of Deceit: The Secret of Castle Lockemoer

The Palace Of Deceit: The Secret Of Castle Lockemoer is a single player text adventure that is the forerunner of the Windows game The Palace of Deceit: The Dragon's Plight.

The story begins long ago in a land far away where an evil wizard reigned causing death, misery and destruction for the inhabitants. Being thoroughly fed up with this state of affairs the people called upon a good wizard and bade him bring forth a great warrior to defeat the evil one. The result being that the wizard opens a portal to the present through which he pulls the player and, after explaining the task in hand he zaps the player to the Castle Of Deceit to both explore and do battle.
