Description
Archipelago is a 3D puzzle game where the player removes blocks of color matching cubes from a rotating tower. This gameplay mechanic is similar to the one found on the
Breakthru! and
Super Collapse! series of games.
A tower of cubes slowly revolves on the screen, with more cubes being added with time. Left-clicking on blocks of two or more color matching cubes removes them, while right-clicking adds more to the tower. The number of cubes that must be removed is displayed at the top of the screen. If the tower reaches the ceiling, it's the end of the game.
The titular archipelago has thematic islands, each associated to a different aspect of nature. Some have special features. For example, in the lightning island the tower rotation is intermittent.
