Trivia

There is a famous urban legend that Alexis Adams, Scott's wife at the time, got so fed up with all the time he spent on Adventureland that she baked his source code disks in the oven... and they survived! The truth is, she only put them in and threatened to turn the oven on. The actual baking is an embellishment by eager storytellers.

Scott let Alexis work with him on the design of his second game, Pirate Adventure, so she could see exactly what it was he was doing.
