Description
A salesman enters the office of private detective Nick Bounty and is stabbed to death right in the beginning of the story. The killer escapes without being seen and it's on Nick to start investigating. The only clue is, that the man was obviously selling crabs...
A Case of the Crabs is a humorous freeware adventure with black-and-white graphics and film noir atmosphere. Players control Nick Bounty via six verbs, which are placed at the bottom of the screen and allow commands such as "look", "talk" or "use". Most puzzles are of the traditional, object-based kind. The game features a soundtrack and voice actors.
The game is available for download or can be played directly in your web browser. A sequel has already been released under the title
The Goat in the Grey Fedora, also starring Nick Bounty in the leading role.
