Press Release

This game draws its look and plot from the popular Marvel comics of the 1960s, when Bruce Banner's alter ego first wowed comic-book readers.

Show Me the Green

Bruce Banner was once a mild-mannered scientist working on the development of the devastating G-Bomb. When he is accidentally exposed to Gamma radiation, his life is changed forever. Now, if his anger is aroused, Bruce becomes a giant green monster known as the Incredible Hulk.

In this game, you view the action from a 3D isometric perspective that allows you to see approaching enemies as well as what lies behind walls. Arrows will point you in the right direction as you explore 33 levels. Environments include maze-like military compounds, vast deserts, underground caves and subterranean cities.

You receive game objectives in the form of Bruce Banner's own thoughts. Tasks include destroying key objects and surviving a trip from point A to point B. Eventually, you'll face off against another monstrous result of Gamma Radiation, the Abomination.

You Wouldn't Like Me When I'm Angry

Large numbers of enemies will come at you with guns and grenades and will set traps like electrified walkways and automated turrets. But, as the personification of anger, the Hulk has more than a few tricks up his sleeve.

Using his incredible strength, the Hulk can leap long distances, lift massive objects and bash through solid walls. The Hulk can sometimes take down multiple enemies with one swing.

The Anger Management Tour

Special moves include a charge attack, in which the Hulk drops a chartreuse shoulder and plows through whatever gets in his way. If the Hulk is surrounded, plan A is the smash attack, which deals heavy damage to nearby enemies.

Virtually everything in the game is destructible, including furniture, computers and vending machines. Bashing your surroundings will sometimes yield a health pickup, so it pays to destroy everything you see.

In addition to the single-player adventure, multiple Hulks can fight head-to-head. Multiplayer action requires GBAs and Game Paks for every player and enough GBA Game Link Cables to connect all systems.

Bottom Line

The Incredible Hulk will muscle its way into any comic book fan's library. Controlling the Hulk's savage power while roaming through destructible environments is fun.
