Oni is a sharp, slick action game that features Konoko, a female police officer for the Tech Crimes Task Force which is in charge of bringing hi-tech criminals to justice. In fact, this gal is the hardest techno cop in the city, hell bent on ridding it of the scum and lawlessness that's taken a hold. . .

While stalking the streets of this near-future world, Konoko encounters over 100 enemies in the game's 17 different levels. Starting with only a few punches, kicks and takedowns in her repertoire, Kononko soon learns a few new tricks to help her knock her opponents sideways. But what's a cop without her reserves of weaponry? Well, in this game, our heroine comes fully equipped with a bunch of scarily high-calibre pistols and explosives. And when things really kick off, you literally see the sparks fly ? the interactive elements in this game have a 1,000 polygon count which means that clothing swishes, glass shatters and bullets make devastatingly real impact.
