Summary

Ever wondered what it's like to tackle the blazing flames of a major fire? Wonder no more, as Firefighter F.D. 18 casts you as Dean McGregor, the bravest fireman on his watch. A serial arsonist is at work in the city, and it's your task to put out his infernos and unravel the mystery behind his identity.

This setting is the cue for an adventure with a difference, as you meet characters like TV reporters and researchers, who may or may not be able to help you in your quest.

The main appeal of the game lies in tackling the flames, of course. Blazes are reproduced with amazing realism, including dangerous backdrafts and flashovers. Further hindrances will be caused by smoke, gas, hazardous chemicals and explosives, so you'll need to have your wits about you. Thankfully, you'll have a wide range of equipment to help you tame the flame and rescue civilians, including your trusty hose and the IFEX impulse gun. Get ready to turn up the heat...
