1193 Anno Domini: Merchants and Crusader
Description official descriptions
1193 Anno Domini is a trading simulation set in the second half of the Middle Age. The player takes the role of a little unknown trader, much like their three rivals, which can be played either by the computer or by other human players. The goal is to become a rich and powerful merchant and overpower competitors. To achieve this, the player can expand their business through 98 towns, while trading 36 different goods. They're however not limited to just trading goods, as they can also produce them, using 22 different types of production facilities across 6 different economy sectors. To maintain their trade business, the player has to protect their goods from thieves or their rivals, as well as anticipate external factors like the weather or the plague.
Once the player gains enough influence as a trader to become respected by the authorities, they not only benefit from extra protection services for their goods, but can also take part in some political decisions (such as taxation). This also comes with some extra tasks the player has to do for the town and the church.
