User AvatarWe continue this week of Western RPGs with the second part of Drunken Irishman's personal history of the genre. This era, entitled The craftsmen - early 90's to mid-90's, runs from Ultima 6 (1990) to Diablo (1996) and most importantly explains why it is called the Dark Ages.

In his typical style, you will also get to know about important landmarks such as the first RPG with a homosexual semi-graphic sex scene, the first RPG to introduce a journal and what God's favourite game is.

User AvatarLittle mention of the RPGs made in Europe at that time. All right, Ishar is mentioned, and it is pointed out that it sucks. But what about the Photoscaping games (Shadowlands, Shadoworlds) and Thalion's Amber series?
