Developer BIO

Alex is a graduate of Edinburgh University where he studied Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science. He has worked for major games publishers over the last 15 years.

A self-taught 8-bit assembly programmer, he started out commercially as a Software Engineer at MicroProse and later went on to be Head of Software Engineering at Eidos' Pumpkin Studios, where he lead the PC version of Warzone 2100.

Alex is presently CTO at Pivotal Games, a studio of just over 100 people in rural South West England and developers of Conflict Desert Storm.
