Overview edit · view history

Lockpick Entertainment was founded in 2004 by David Rosén CEO and an elite group of students studying the computer game development programs at the University of Skövde.

Prior to this, the team won the award for Best Game of 2004 with their first demo project The Saga of Ina in the annual KTH Game Awards.

As the team grew from 10 to 14 over the following months they planned their first major title, Dreamlords.

In 2005 the collaboration with the University of Skövde was increased as Lockpick Entertainment and the university began their first project together. After a few months of initial planning, a new team of eight developed a stunning prototype of a new generation of edutainment games.

In June 2006 they had 22 employees and a number of short term people working on two projects.
