Overview edit · view history
LightBox Interactive is a game development studio based in Austin, Texas (USA). The studio was founded in January 2009 by former members of Incognito Entertainment, including Dylan Jobe, Bruce Woodard and Lars Devore. Other members come from various studios, including 3D Realms Entertainment.
The company signed a multi-year, multi-title partnership with Sony Computer Entertainment America and relocated from its Salt Lake City headquarters to Austin, Texas in Fall 2009.
The studio's first release was Starhawk, the spiritual successor to Warhawk Incognito Entertainment previously worked on. In October 2012 it was reported the company laid off 24 employees and would return to a smaller, indie-type of team with a first iOS game on the way. The multi-title agreement with SCEA was ended.
