Overview

Founded in 1982 by Fernando Herrera, First Star Software, Inc. developed and published games. Then in 1985, they discontinued their publishing operations to concentrate on developing and licensing software.

Trivia

According to James Hague, First Star was so named because their founder, Fernando Herrera was the first recipient of the Atari Program Exchange's "Atari Star" award for the educational title My First Alphabet.
